Jennifer Cheng is a journalist and an editor. She has written for The Canadian Press and Toronto Life magazine. Jenn has also copy edited stories for the Toronto Star and The Globe and Mail—Canada’s two largest daily newspapers.

On the side, she freelances as a book editor, specializing in creative non-fiction. In 2024, Jenn edited Mighty Joe Mui, which was a runner-up in the memoir category at the 2024 New York Book Festival. It also received an honourable mention at the 2024 Hollywood Book Festival.

Jenn holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson), where she was editor-in-chief of McClung’s, a CAJ-winning women’s issues magazine.

Her work has appeared in Toronto Life, The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, CBC News, National Post, CTV News, Financial Post, Global News, CityNews and many other media outlets.
